The JBL Synthesis SCL-2XL two and a half way in wall loudspeaker delivers high performance across medium, large, and extra large rooms. Built with a patented D2815 dual one and a half inch compression driver, the speaker features a dual diaphragm and dual motor design mated to a large format High Definition Imaging horn geometry. This driver configuration operates alongside quadruple eight inch cast frame woofers featuring Advanced Aluminum Matrix cones.

A two and a half way crossover network with premium components manages the frequencies. This specialized network allow for vertical or horizontal orientation during a sound system setup without creating the acoustic lobing issues common in traditional loudspeaker designs. For advanced installations, dual sets of gold plated, spring loaded binding post input terminals facilitate bi wiring or bi amplification configurations.

The structural foundation utilizes a Sonoglass baffle combined with an integrated MDF enclosure and an isolation mounting system. This enclosure is sized specifically for installation within standard two by six wood frame construction.
